Weekly News for June 1, 2002

From Pastor Nancy
A huge thank you to my church family for all you did to make Shelby’s Celebration of Life so meaningful.  Thank you to those who cleaned and prepared the church and cleaned up after. Thank you to the car parkers.  Thank you to our church staff for handling so many things and getting all the bulletins done and arranging for flowers to be delivered.  Thank you to the tech team for setting us up and live-streaming (245 views!) with overflow in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you to our child care team for helping with the little ones. Thank you to our kitchen crew (WF and others) for organizing a beautiful reception.  Thank you to all who brought food.  Thank you also to those who packed up leftovers to be taken to Portland on Sunday for those who are not housed, and thank you to those who helped me do that. Thank you to our wonderful musician. Thank you to Deacons plus greeting all those who came.  Thank you to the Diaconate for reaching out to Jeremy and JoJo and Ellie with Hannaford and gas cards.  Most of all, thank you for your graciousness in allowing me the space to both be a Pastor and a mourner  – this has meant more than I can express.  Blessings, Pastor Nancy
