Decorated sugar cookies are always a big hit but even the simplest chocolate chip cookie is welcomed, along with seasonal breads and pies, yummy brownies and bars, and delicious jams and jellies. These items can be dropped off the day before or early morning at the start of the fair. If pickup is needed, please call Sue at 831-9014 to arrange a time. Happy baking!
Stone Soup Sunday
Sunday, November 21st please join us for Stone Soup Sunday
Please bring a cooked offering for the pot ~ veggies, pasta, potatoes, chicken, beef, tomatoes! When we each bring of ourselves to share, no one will ever go hungry – by stomach or spirit. We will fill our bellies as we warm our hearts with the abundance created. All are welcome!
Thank you to everyone who helped with cleanup day at the church. We had plenty of hands helping to rake and putting in storm windows and we made short work of it.
From the Financial Secretary’s Desk.
Do you have any questions about how you are doing with your 2021 pledge to NYCC? I can help clear up any questions if you call me- 829-5166 or send an email …email@example.com. We did this last year and it worked well.
We sent out about 100 letters with pledge cards last week. We also know we probably missed folks who have supported NYCC this year and would like to do so in 2022 . We have material ready to go out. I will have a few in church next Sunday or you can call the church and Lyn will send you the package.
We have known for sometime now that NYCC is a very meaningful part of many of our lives….a real blessing to some and the place they want to be for worship and fellowship. Thank you for helping us to continue being a church for all who want to be a part of our family! Even if you are thousands of miles away!

Calling all gloves!!!!!! you all have been unbelievably generous this fall as always. Now I am hoping that we can become the ‘glove church’. We are in desperate need of warm gloves for men and women – both knitted and other. I have found some at Job Lots that are not too expensive in the past. Maybe you have another source. Thank you in advance – I would love to be able to share with both Pastor Jeff and Pastor Karen. Thank you, Pastor Nancy
