2021 financial pledge to NYCC
Around 30 new pledges have been received to date…..and thank you so much for these precious gifts. We are in the midst of preparing a new budget for next year and it would be so helpful to have an estimate of what we will be receiving for the new year. Last year we had around 48-50 pledges, so this year is a bit behind. If you have forgotten, it is not too late to send it in, or if you have misplaced the yellow pledge card, Lyn (829-3644) can send you a replacement, OR you can simply write the necessary information on a piece of paper. That would be your name—–amount pledged per week….month or a yearly gift, AND where you wish it to be used, i.e., General Fund, Missions, other (please specify) Thank you for your care and concern in this situation.

Diaconate Meeting and Trustees Meeting
Both of these group will meet Tuesday, December 8 at 6:15pm via Zoom. As we can’t have 2 zoom meetings going at the same time, we are trying a new feature in zoom called breakout rooms. Everyone from both groups will sign in to the same meeting and then we will use the breakout room feature to separate deacons and trustees. I have split the difference between start times. This is new. I will test it before Tuesday so hopefully it will work smoothly. Patience is appreciated. Nancy

Staff Christmas Gifts
An opportunity to wish our staff a Merry Christmas! Despite a most unusual year, and surely not a very positive one, our NYCC staff has turned cartwheels (can you pictures of that) to keep the church a vital part of many of our lives. So, this is your chance to give a little something to them for their holidays. You can send cash or stop by church and hand it to Lyn, or send a check made out to Jeanne Chadbourne clearly marked “Staff Gifts”. At Home Advent Packets
We have at home Advent packets available for families and others. Please come by the church to pick one up if you are interested. They will be in a plastic bin outside the church doors. Please look for the envelopes that do not have names on them. If they are all gone please let the office know and we will make more. Advent begins on November 29th.
