Carol’s Cookie Walk
IT’S CRUNCH TIME! (A little cookie humor) – We are in need of cookies for Carol’s Cookie Walk at our Christmas Fair. To all you bakers and non-bakers (no-bake cookies) out there we will need dozens of wonderful creations for the cookie walk table. We are asking for 2 dozen or more cookies from each person. Please let Sue Berube SueBerube@maine.rr.com know if you can bake and share your scrumptious creations! Thank you!
The Christmas Fair folks are looking for gently used jewelry for the jewelry table. If you have some jewelry that you no longer wear would you consider donating it to the Women’s Fellowship/Tuesday Gals for the fair?! You can give it to a Tuesday Gal or bring it into the office and Lyn will make sure that they get it. Thank you!
Do you have a craft where you create an item that might draw some nice bids at the Fair’s Silent Auction? Pat Field’s wooden crèche figures come to mind. Do you own/work at a business that might donate a Gift Card? Please think of a good donation that would draw interest (and bids) to the Silent Auction tables at the Christmas Fair. Many of our regulars enjoy bidding on new, fresh items and gift cards; sometimes a bidding war even breaks out!
Please contact Pam Ames at 829-5708 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to discuss a possible donation.
Council meeting Thursday afternoon at 4:30. We will not let the grass grow under our feet at this meeting as there are other activities ( ie. “the fair”) for example that require our participation. But, we do have a item or 2 that need our attention. Let’s meet in Lyn”s office because of all the other activities going on. Thanks
A very special Sunday as we consecrate our promises to NYCC for the coming year,,,,,,,NOV. 19th.
