This and That
1) Gary and company did a lot of work, seemed to have a good time working the yard sale and it was quite the success ! As of Monday, $1081.00 had been turned in, and for this a huge thank you to all who helped !
2) The church and Fellowship Hall are looking so good with the fresh paint job. Chris D. is spending many hours with the painting crew, just making sure the church continues to be open and available as needed. Chris……well done……..thank you so much for the care you give on these projects.
3) To the lady with the black kneed work clothes, the gardens have never looked better. You are there a day or two every week and your efforts really , really show. Thank you , Priscilla. And George, the lawns always look like you have just tended to them. When do you do it ? ! Thank-you , George.
Heads up to the August 18th Church Council meeting. If you have any thing you may wish to bring to the council’s attention there are at least two or three ways to do it. Anyone can and would be so welcome to attend the meetings and speak to your issue, or you can let the moderator know about it and it could go on the written agenda, or you could write a note to the council and we’d take it from there. Your participation is so welcome.

Greetings to all of you,
What a nice cool spring we are having. I hope you all have had a chance to be out enjoying it.
Traffic continues to be steady at the pantry. We seem to be serving about 35-40 families a week. Now that summer is almost here donations tend to slow down so your help will be invaluable.

We continue to be thankful for all your support and donations. It truly is a community pantry.
