Church Yard Sale

The church yard sale is this Saturday, July 30 from 9:00-1:00 pm. Donations are still being accepted anytime. We already have a donation of two kayaks with paddles and more fun items! If you have questions please contact Gary Davis at 829-6266.

Summer Office Hours

Monday and Wednesday – 7:00-8:30 am

Tuesday and Thursday – 7:00-8:30 am and 12:15 to 3:00 pm

Pastor Nancy on Study Leave

Pastor Nancy will be on study leave from July 25-August 1. If you have a pastoral emergency please contact Anne Graham, Chair of Deacons at 712-8253 or 846-0049 and she will contact the pastor on call.

Church Business

1) Sunday Morning coffee this summer has gone incredibly well ! Thank you, Pastor-Parish Relations Comm. for a smooth July. Christian Ed. You’re up for Aug. If you have any questions, just ask. The cookie/snack/cracker shelf is well stocked, plenty of juice on hand and I’ll pick up 1/2 and 1/2 .It’s your call if you are so inclined to bring your own special munchies. ( P-R has one more Sunday July 31st )

2) It is not too early to be letting the Nominating Comm—-Butch, Pam, Pat F—- know you are interested in getting off a board, OR would like to serve on a Board or committee starting in JAN 2017. I have had someone let me know they are thinking of not serving on a comm. next year and I appreciated the heads up.

3) Council Meeting Thursday Aug,18th. We are going to try a 4:30 meeting time. If I get calls saying this isn’t going to work we will quickly change it. Want to accommodate all if possible. This hopefully will be a planning, dreaming, wishing session, getting us ready to step into Fall ,” our fun getting it all back together time of year”. Come, ready to share your ideas.
Steeple Painting

Don’t forget the Matching Fund opportunity that will help so much as the Trustees work to get the steeple painted. Please note on your check that it is for the steeple. This campaign will finish up at the end of August. Thank you !

Iris Corms

Priscilla Brobst has Iris Corms to give away. If you would like some please give her a call at 829-3480.

Christmas Baskets Donations.

We Need help to filling the raffle baskets. There is a list of the items needed in front of the basket for donated goods. The collection basket/box is located in the Gathering Space. We appreciate all the help to make the Christmas Basket Raffle a success! If anyone would rather donate money instead of shopping, we will do the shopping! All you need to do is let Terri, or any of the Tuesday gals aware of the money donation! All of the TUESDAY GALS thank you for all your HELP!

Traffic continues to be steady at the pantry. We seem to be serving about 35-40 families a week. Now that summer is almost here donations tend to slow down so your help will be invaluable.
