Thank you
It was more difficult than I thought it would be to tell the Lions Club that I wasn’t going to be heading the suppers off any more and that at this point no one had come forward to take over. They really, really like coming out to our church for 5 suppers a year. We received many wonderful comments……they always were so pleased with the dinners. Great bunch of guys and gals and it was an honor to serve them. They were so easy, never, ever complained, even when the baked potatoes were very undone! They do so much for our communities. Gail is working on a plan that might spark some interest for this project, but I’ll let her put that out there for your consideration. The last x number of years of our serving the Lions would have been absolutely impossible with out the consistently faithful staff to work the events……..Sandy, Pam, Mike, Betsy, Gail, and Don rarely missed a supper. Folks I could call on in a pinch….Mark, Marsha, Tracy, Dixie, Jane and then there were Kris P and her sister-in-law, Melissa, who would help set up Monday mornings. Without you it could not have happened. There is not a big enough THANK YOU ! Jeanne
