Woops! The newsletter deadline is next Monday, January 25th. Sorry, I mixed the date up with Yarmouth, so you have more time! For those who sent in their articles I thank you, and I look forward to the rest next Monday. Thank you.
Annual Congregational Meeting
The Annual Congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, February 7th directly following worship. Please plan to attend.
Super Bowl Sub Sale
Christian Education will be having a Super Bowl Sunday Sub sale this year. Look for the order sheet in the Gathering Space. Subs will be $5.00 each and will consist of ham, cheese, tomatoes, pickles and olives on a roll. Special orders don’t upset us! Subs will be ready for pick up after church on Sunday, February 7. Proceeds will benefit the Pilgrim Lodge Scholarship program.
Lion’s Club Supper
A gentle reminder to the Lions Club Supper helpers. Mon the 25th is our next event and I am sure hoping you are all on board to help. Thank you – Jeanne
The Strawbridge/Wright family is looking for snow removal coverage for March 17 through the 27th. They volunteered this year to clear the 7 exits, oil and propane tanks, etc. after each snow event. If you are interested in covering this time please contact Kristi at firstname.lastname@example.org or 522-2607. Thank you!
EMAIL CHANGE (NEW!)
Please change the following email address in your directories: Norm Smith from email@example.com to firstname.lastname@example.org
Save the Week of February 8, 2015, for Building Chicken Pies
The February 13th CHICKEN PIE SALE is a significant fund-raiser for our church, which helps us, in turn, be able to give back to the community at large…it’s a win-win! We have many enthusiastic patrons who have already ordered our delicious chicken pies and incomparable gravy.
Now we need enthusiastic volunteers who would like to be part of a fun-loving team to create 400 chicken pies! Bring a friend along, too.
Please block out these dates in your 2015 calendars:
– February 8, Monday: weigh and create dough balls at 10:30 am
– February 9, Tuesday: pick chicken at 1:00 pm
– February 11, Thursday: roll pie bottoms at 8:30 am
– February 12, Friday: roll pie tops at 8:30 am and assemble those yummy chicken pies to be boxed and sold from 2:00-5:30 pm.
Also during that week, we’re looking for volunteers to perform other tasks, such as building the pie boxes and cutting up frozen chicken from Sysco.
Thank you in advance for blocking out the week of February 8-12. We sincerely appreciate any and all help you can give. Just the aromas in the kitchen will be enough to cheer you up during this bleak time of year…to say nothing of the fellowship we’ll all enjoy!

We have a good stock of the most popular Rada items still available for purchase in a basket in the office. If you are interested in items that we do not have, please check out the catalog — we can order items when we have sold enough to restock. Payment may be put in the Women’s Fellowship box. Checks may be written out to NYCC/WF. This will be an ongoing fundraiser for Women’s Fellowship/Tuesday Gals. If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Whittier.
